ALUMINIUM ALLOYS

Series 1000
Alloys 1050A, 1060, 1100, 1200 and 1350 pertain to the group of aluminium for technical purposes.
Their characteristics include excellent electric conductivity, good plasticity and good corrosion resistance. They can also be easily welded and electrochemically anodized.
These alloys are used in food and tobacco industry, refrigerator production, building of machines for the chemical industry, metallurgy, etc.
Series 3000
Alloys of 3105 and 3003 series from Al-Mn-Mg group are related to the alloy groups for sheets and strips production. Alloy 3003 has better strength properties. These alloys hare application mainly in the light industry.
Series 6000
Alloys 6060 and 6063 of the AI-Mg-Si group pertain to the group of medium strength alloys, which are mainly used for production of hot extruded profiles.
They have very good plasticity combined with enough strength, good weld ability, corrosion resistance Electrochemical anodization can be applied.
These alloys are mainly used in architecture, construction, motor vehicle construction, machine building and production of household goods.
Alloy 6082 is a stronger version of 6060 and 6063 alloys. It has good corrosion
resistance in sea environment and good weld-ability. It is mainly applied in construction, shipbuilding, mining, machine building for the transport industry and production of threaded parts.
Series 8000
Alloys of 8006 and 8011 series from Al-Fe-Si group are related to alloy groups of household foil production. Series 8006 have good stretching properties and higher tensile strength. These alloys have application mainly in the food industry.

ALCOMET has the proper equipment and capabilities to cast and process other alloy grades according to EN 573-3 upon customer request.
